January 12th, 2007!

Thanks for checking out my myspace! yeah I'm really dedicated to filming and in that as a career choice. Thanks for sending that message and if you would like to ask me anything you can contact me quicker there then here. :)

I checked out that Backpack site and I find it very useful! Thank you for showing that to me because I like the lists that you can check off and type up. As for the calender thing, My mom bought me a calender with my favorite video game on it, World of Warcraft, so ill just use that instead. Yeah I used to be a hardcore gamer but now I just stick to my Final Fantasy and World of Warcraft or anything online oriented to play with others across the country.

Thats great that you got to spend your christmas with your family this year! I bet it was great. I went to my moms sisters house with my parents and brother and sister and I had a pretty fun time.

Well, I hope you had a great new year and I'll try to reply quicker to you from home instead of school because we don't go to the computer lab often enough to see if we got any replys.

Have a great weekend and I'll talk to you soon!

Jp,

I'm glad you're finding Backpack useful. It's just one of a few web applications I use to try to stay organized. It took me forever before I figured out how useful it is to just sit down and plan my time (and make sure I note when something is due, or I'm supposed to meet someone). I didn't really get it until after I was out of law school and I bought a Palm Pilot.

I think that's because when I was a lawyer I had to record everything I did for work, down to the 10th of an hour, so the law firm that I worked for could bill clients for my work. When I started wrting down what I had done, it just made sense for me to try to plan time first instead of just reacting to what happens and writing it down afterwords. I think it gives you more control over your life and lets you spend more time doing what you like.

Rory tells me that I should be looking for something you're writing about an article on education. Plan out the time to do it by just saying you're going to set a period of time aside. Then you're free to know whether you can say yes or no to an invitation, or just know that you'll have time afterward to do some filming.

Anyway, I'm better at preaching about time management that practicing it. But it sure always pays off when I do it.

Glad your Christmas was fun, and it sounds like you're off to a good new year.

I'll check in within the next couple of days. Good to hear from you!
