Getting to know....

Your welcome! That’s really cool that Mr. Hughes is your cousin. He is a really cool teacher. Yeah I know “The Industry” is a hard one, which is why I’m trying really hard in my Video Production class to get into the business.

As for that calendar idea, I plan on going out and buying one right away. That way I can keep up with everything like you said. With that in mind, I bet I’ll do a lot better in my classes.

That’s a pretty interesting job you got there and I hope all goes good with your next project. I’ll check out that website sometime when I can and reply to you about it. That would be great if you could get me some info on those people in film because I could use as much information as I can get.

Thanks much for what you gave me here and I look forward to talking to you in the future.

Thanks,

- Jp

Good grief, how did I go so long without answering your last entry. I'm glad you think some of my advice is helpful. There's a service called Backpack that's pretty cool. The calendar and to do list can all be kept in one place on the web, if you want. Their free version gives you four pages free, but not the calendar and file storage you get with the paid accoutn (I think its 5 bucks a month for paid accounts that gets evertyhing - 20 pages, each page can have as many checkoff lists as you want, as many notes as you want,it can store images or files up to 80 MB for that account, it has a calendar, AND you can set it to email you reminders ot txt them to your phone for things you're likely to forget. You can even share pages with the paid account, so if you're wkorking on a school project, everyone can log into the same page and check things off a lisst, add a note, or upload a draft of a paper for others to read. You can even publish any of your pages to the web. For instance I have an all purpose page that I put quotes on, little pieces of infor that ill forget, images, files, bits of HTML code I might need etc. You can look at what that published page looks like at . You can look at what free form page looks like at https://irlbare.backpackit.com/pub/174533, but that one's sort of out of control in length. The calendar in the paid version is based on iCal, so its cool and easy to use. Just something to think about.

Backpack is at http://backpackit.com
note that the IT on the end of backpackIT.com.

And then there's a free to do list service, very simple, at http://tadalists.com. Couldn't be easier.

And both Backpack and TaDa Lists are password protected and available from any computer.

Wow. Than makes me sound reall like a geek. If you don't like all that pen and paper still work just fine, just keep 'em up to date.

I'm gonna check out your myspace site later on today. so i'm not exactly sure what your taste in mustic is, but my nephew pointed me to this:

Pretty wild. Reminds me of the old phsychedilic days. I spent my Christmas with my whole family for the first time in several years. I was pretty cool. My nephews have all finished colledge in the last four years, so they're trying to figure out what to do for the rest of their lives. It's good to know you have a goal. The more focused you are on it, the more will turn up. For sure.

All right, I've typed too much about too little, and was late in doing it! Forgive the time it took to reply. And Happy New Year!
