Thanks for checking out my myspace! yeah I'm really dedicated to filming and in that as a career choice. Thanks for sending that message and if you would like to ask me anything you can contact me quicker there then here. :)
I checked out that Backpack site and I find it very useful! Thank you for showing that to me because I like the lists that you can check off and type up. As for the calender thing, My mom bought me a calender with my favorite video game on it, World of Warcraft, so ill just use that instead. Yeah I used to be a hardcore gamer but now I just stick to my Final Fantasy and World of Warcraft or anything online oriented to play with others across the country.
Thats great that you got to spend your christmas with your family this year! I bet it was great. I went to my moms sisters house with my parents and brother and sister and I had a pretty fun time.
Well, I hope you had a great new year and I'll try to reply quicker to you from home instead of school because we don't go to the computer lab often enough to see if we got any replys.
Have a great weekend and I'll talk to you soon!

Getting to know....
Your welcome! That’s really cool that Mr. Hughes is your cousin. He is a really cool teacher. Yeah I know “The Industry” is a hard one, which is why I’m trying really hard in my Video Production class to get into the business.
As for that calendar idea, I plan on going out and buying one right away. That way I can keep up with everything like you said. With that in mind, I bet I’ll do a lot better in my classes.
That’s a pretty interesting job you got there and I hope all goes good with your next project. I’ll check out that website sometime when I can and reply to you about it. That would be great if you could get me some info on those people in film because I could use as much information as I can get.
Thanks much for what you gave me here and I look forward to talking to you in the future.
Thanks,
- Jp

Letter of Introduction
Dear Mr. Barefield,
Hello, my name is Justin Laskos, though I prefer to be called Jp, I am 17 and I am in the 11th grade. I am writing this letter to learn more about the Film Industry and noticed you live in L.A. and that you would know about some of it.
First I would like to tell a couple things about me. My favorite school subject is Video Productions because I love creating videos and new packages for the video announcements for everyone in the school to see. I also love working on the high-tech computers. Though, my least favorite and difficult class has to be Pre-Calculus because I find it hard to understand some of the formulas used to find the answer to a problem. With these things in mind for working on videos and stuff I would like to go to Specs Howard or any type of film school that can help me better my skills at it. With the things I do, I hope to become a Big Screen writer someday and see my movies in the theaters.
Some person things about me, like my family for example, help me with my career path. I have my mom, dad, a brother, and a sister. I love reading and love playing games online on the computer with people around the world making new friends. My favorite types of movies are fantasy and an action movie, my favorite type of music is Alternative, and my favorite types of books to read are Manga.
I also want to learn some things from you like what are some good things I can do to do better in high school? Preparing for college? Becoming a Film Producer? What are your hobbies and interests? Also, why did you decide to take part in this mentor program?
I hope that you can help me with some or most of my questions here in the mentor program and I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Justin “Jp” Laskos
